I first cast my vote aged 18 with naivety of youth

As I stepped into the polling station’s wooden polling booth

Seeking to vote tactically, I opted for Lib Dem

But they’re just yellow Tories, so I won’t do that again

I will confess to you right now, that I once voted green
Back when the Blairites and the Tories were equally obscene
And spent some time in Scotland, where I considered the SNP
But I’d sooner never vote at all than for corrupt Tories…

Teresa May protecting they accused of sex offense
Hancock & Hunt, they’ve got some front, dismantling the NHS
With Windrush kids still fearing deportation and arrest

Racist Boris Johnson the philandering buffoon

Trident over hospitals to assure our mutual doom

Decade of bust austerity, a country crying out for boom

If I never see another Tory, it’ll surely be too soon….
